Granjas Carroll de México (GCM) is a Mexican company, incorporated in 1993 with the purpose of raising, commercializing and processing swine on the hoof. The company is made up of two private groups with international operations, the first is Mexican, Agroindustrias Unidas de México (AMSA), with activities in agrofeed industry and the second is North American, Smithfield, the main producer and processor of pork in the world.
GCM is situated in the valleys of Perote and Guadalupe Victoria. It has 16 farms on the border region of the states of Veracruz and Puebla. It is built with state of the art technology and is considered to be the most technified farm in México. |
